Sunday, May 5, 2013. Who's up for some summer fun? Today, I asked my kids what they would like to do this summer. I wrote down their ideas. I'm going to post them on the refrigerator and use them as a defense against the curse of "I'm bored -itis." Also, I just think it will be fun to see how many of these things we can actually do! In no particular order. 2 Have a backyard campout. 5 Find shark's teeth. 6 Go to the beach. 7 Go to the zoo. 11 Play in the rain. 12 Play in the sprinkler. 22 Have a picnic.

Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Great Park Adventure - Forestry Tower. Yesterday, we took our park adventure down Beach Blvd., to Forestry Tower park! There were a few people who seemed to, umm, live there, so buyer beware! The park was pretty clean and shady, and there are lots of walking paths and benches. Some of the playground equipment was in disrepair, but they have great sticks on the ground to be used as weapons, so the kids were happy! Are these the HIGHEST swings you've ever seen! Is the lesson plan!

My wonderful, loving, creative, funny and good-looking fiance proposed to me at our cookout surrounded our family and friends! Here's how it went down. Shredded paper in my science/sensory table for "snow." They had measuring cups, spoons, etc to scoop and play with the paper.
