The 2 Little Junebugs: Sewing Machine Porn
http://the2littlejunebugs.blogspot.com/2014/02/sewing-machine-porn.html
The 2 Little Junebugs. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. I don't know about you guys, but I totally obsess over vintage sewing machines. You see them everywhere, yard sales, thrift stores, dumpsters. and nobody seems to appreciate them for their beauty! Now I don't USE them, I totally admit that. I will pick my trusty Brother Machine any day of the week. Call me spoiled, but I like my fancy digital settings. Anyway, here are a few of my latest finds. Enjoy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Live.Love.Yarn.: December 2010
http://liveloveyarn.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 30, 2010. Well, it looks the like holiday madness is over. And by madness I mean loveliness. Lovely madness? Either way, as much as I love the holidays I am not afraid to admit they can be a little taxing. I feel like this year I swung right from "finals mode" into "Christmas mode". This is my Grammie's lovely all purple tree). I love this old-fashioned Santa doll. You can pretend I cropped Andrew's hand out.). We got a blizzard the day after Christmas! Live.Love.Yarn.: Bringing May Flowers
http://liveloveyarn.blogspot.com/2012/05/bringing-may-flowers.html
Wednesday, May 16, 2012. It was almost as if overnight everything had come alive! My little world was all of a sudden so lush! Some of the flower bushes in my neighborhood looked like they were actually exploding with blossoms. The birds were singing such a beautiful song. The air was brisk from all the rain. It was so delightful. Yards were overtaken by dandelions. Wild patches of grass had sprung up, making our yard look a bit more like a jungle than a yard. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Live.Love.Yarn.: In the Meantime

Wednesday, August 22, 2012. It's been pretty busy over here since I got back from my mini-vacation in Connecticut (for those of you who don't follow me on on Flickr or IG: I went to Connecticut! Now that I am working full-time most of my free time is being spent relaxing with my Boo or hanging out with my best friend. She goes to school about two hours away from me so we we are squeezing in all the time we can get. As we speak (or, rather, as I type) I am teaching her to cable! Four Things I'm Diggin:.

http://the2littlejunebugs.blogspot.com/2014/02/a-day-at-farm.html
The 2 Little Junebugs. Saturday, February 22, 2014. A day at the farm. In celebration of our freakishly warm February, I took the ladies to go visit my friends farm. Seriously this has to be the cutest place ever, everything in tiny-sized! She has miniature horses, pygmy goats, bantam chickens and alpacas! The look on their faces when they got to see the mini's up close was priceless! Kaylee actually squealed with delight when Pierre came up to sniff her! Zoey didn't want to stop petting him! I share my ...

Live.Love.Yarn.: November 2010
http://liveloveyarn.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 9, 2010. The Icing On the Cake. I recently completed my first ever sweater project! The pattern is Iced from Knitty First Fall 2010. I have been trying to conquer my fear of sweaters and just knit one already. I wanted something simple and comfy. This definitely fit the bill. I knit it in Patons Shetland Chunky. Rav link) and I knit the 38.5" bust size. So, without further adieu. Andrew took these pics (he's such a trooper) and I think he did a great job! Thanks for stopping by! What el...

The 2 Little Junebugs: Here Be Dragons...
http://the2littlejunebugs.blogspot.com/2014/02/here-be-dragons.html
The 2 Little Junebugs. Friday, February 21, 2014. I guess this whole crafty crochet thing started with a dragon. Isn't that how most fairy tales start? I learned to crochet almost 3 years ago when I was housebound with 2 newborn babies. I needed to do something with my hands while I watched endless amounts of Netflix. I made a hat, then a seat cover for my bike. Shortly after I made a poodle toilet paper cozy. (Because every roll of toilet paper needs to be cozy, right? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
