I read an artcle on lighting liquids here. And while I was at it I thought I'd try the black and white backgrounds again. This time the light came through the glass. Monday, January 3, 2011. Landscape photography . . . Yesterday was our first meet-up. We got together in the state of Michigan. It was really cold! Please note that they are walking on ice. The Pier was completely frozen over with the waves still splashing over. I was walking on ice but it was not that narrow. I haven't found a niche in landscape photography yet. I haven't studied it enough to figure out how to make them interesting, now give me a person and I've got that! The comp, the color, the waves.

None the less I have completed and created a Diptych With Staci. She took this beautiful classy image of her "new" cologne. I took a picture of Isabella's "new" toy. How is everyone doing? Tuesday, April 20, 2010. I'm not usually one to do quotes, but I thought this photo needed a little something extra. I'm a little confused as to what Henry meant. Does he mean your hair won't gray if you sleep in and/or don't disturb things like dew? Does he mean that you won't live long if you don't get up early? I'm not really sure. What do you think? Now that I’ve finally shaken off the jet lag after a fabulous workshop in London, it’s time to settle back into my photographic life and log some words here on PhotoDino. Rather than learning, relying on, and consciously breaking those rules, I prefer to think of composition in terms of how the viewer’s eye moves through the image. Sunday, April 25, 2010. I thought this one was cute. I found this rocking chair at a thrift sale on Friday! I'm trying to decided if I should paint it or do something different with it. Ideas? Sunday, February 28, 2010. Bubbles and Blue Skies! Today we spent the good majority of it outside. There was a lot of bubble blowing and blue skies. Emilee loved blowing them and then running after them and popping them. It was a fight to get her to come in at all today which is fine but it makes it hard for me to get anything done that needs to be done. It reminds me of a poem. Cleaning and scrubbing can wait til tomorrow. Cause babies grow up we've learned from our sorrow. Then we went to the Children's.

365 days of thankful. Learning to appreciate the little things. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. February 9, 2014. I don’t know if I’ve really clarified, but I work from home. It’s created a whole new set of challenges (not job related.). I knew when I took the job I would be busy. It wasn’t going to be a lounge around on the couch, snacking and watching TV day after day kind of job. But I also think I wasn’t realistic in what I pictured either. But those days are few and far between.
