X-rays taken on Wilmer Flores’/strong left foot Sunday showed no damage after he fouled a pitch off it in the third inning of the Mets’ 6-0 win over the Yankees Sunday ( Carig, March 22. Flores has a bruise and will continue to wear a walking boot for a short time. He left Tradition Field. Wearing a boot after playing seven innings along with the rest of the starters.
