http://thewilliamswhereabouts.blogspot.com/2013/04/c-and-e-heading-to-gua.html
Tuesday, April 2, 2013. C and E Heading to GUA. God has been talking a lot to me about Guatemala. I feel like He has laid it on my heart that I should go there so that I can see how other people live.". Chloe, age 8. This conversation took place a couple weeks ago at the dinner table. Chloe had heard us talking about a mission trip that was happening with our church. She knew that Daddy and Mommy were going.but she did not know that we had already decided to take her and her brother. We need to raise $3,...

The Williams Whereabouts: March 2012
http://thewilliamswhereabouts.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 19, 2012. Around the House This Week. St Patrick's Day and a little Pintentionality. For our third year running, we tried to catch a leprechaun. Chloe is so into this. She reminds us every year. Her first grade teacher asked the whole class to make traps this year to share with the class.Chloe could not wait to get started. According to the letter they wrote, they did in deed appreciate her attention to detail. And thought it to be one of the comfiest traps in town. Friday, March 9, 2012.

The Williams Whereabouts: February 2013
http://thewilliamswhereabouts.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2013. We, like so many other families, have assigned colors to one another in our family. Daddy is orange, Mommy is green, Chloe is pink and Eli is blue. I have noticed that our sweet Eli makes sure that each family members color is represented on the majority of his art projects. Today's example is below. We named him Elijah Hooper Williams. Elijah means "the Lord is God". Hooper is my maiden name.a way to carry on the Hooper Family name. The Lord is God of my family.".

And then some more . . . Because Jesus gives more and more and then some more. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. It's been three weeks since the mercy storm. Blew through. I still cry when I see its destruction everytime I drive through the treeless void it left behind. Yesterday as I drove through, the song “ Mercy Seat. 8221; played loudly in my car, bellowing God’s mercy to the innermost parts of my soul. I was already crying for the truth of the song . . . I know where there’s a place. Of mercy for you.

And then some more . . . Because Jesus gives more and more and then some more. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. The fog settles on the hills, over the trees in my front yard. I glimpse Fall and breathe in deep. The misty morning air settles nicely on my face as we kiss and hug and they run to the bus waiting at the end of the driveway. I step back inside, close the door and thank God for this morning. Thank You for the calm. Regardless, I turn to Him first thing. Because I must. There exists no oth...To re...

Monday, October 11, 2010. I was never one of those girls who dreamed of her wedding day all of her life. I mean, I dreamed of being. Married translated into some pretty fierce expectations for the life after the wedding. I'm thinking. Pretty much sums it up. Thing is, I didn't expect to have so many expectations. And it forced ...

The Williams Whereabouts: January 2012

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Click on that to get to the pin and a video). It is safe to say that sight words are among Chloe's least favorite things to practice. First semester, we were really struggling to make them a nightly routine.hard for both of us. So, when I came across this on Pinterest, I was excited! I had the bathroom paper cups on hand and simply wrote her next 50 or so sight words on the bottom of the cups. She has to read the word and then she can add it to her tower. Only crumbs were left!
