http://mytravels-preethi.blogspot.com/2009/12/barren-lands-vibrant-souls.html
Barren Lands - Vibrant Souls. It seemed eternity since I had been on a holiday. Work was hectic and desperately needed a break. The last real holiday was to Sattal nearly 7 months ago and before that was an all-girls trip to Ladakh a year ago. The idea of going back to Kashmir was quite motivating. I wanted to see the snow-peaked mountains resting on the banks of Indus and Zanskar with a stretch of the sand desert next to it.all over again. We landed at Srinagar. The Road Blog: The Pyramid Valley
http://mytravels-preethi.blogspot.com/2011/03/pyramid-valley.html
We called in a few friends to see if they were interested to join in, but the lazy buggers they are.well, it was just the two of us taking off. At the centre of this forty acre lush green valley, stood the 110ft high magnanimous Maitreya Buddha Pyramid. The walk to the pyramid is enchanted by beautiful landscape of rocks, gardens and a lake transcending the already mesmerised mind into a state of calmness. A little about the Pyramid Valley:.
