No Husband, No House, No Dog...: A lot has changed...
http://nohusbandnohousenodog.blogspot.com/2010/11/lot-has-changed.html
No Husband, No House, No Dog. Monday, November 15, 2010. A lot has changed. Well, not really, but I figured I needed a dramatic post title, since it's been QUITE some time, since I've updated you all (that's right, all 4 of you)! Let's recap what has happened since we last spoke:. 1 I am no longer blonde(ish). My brunette roots were calling to me and I had to go back. Good to be home. 2 Heather left me. My beloved Jayhawk (cough, gag) moved back to stupid smelly Kansas. WHY Heather? 6 CATS are ranked in ...

No Husband, No House, No Dog...: Slow down, Turbo.
http://nohusbandnohousenodog.blogspot.com/2011/11/slow-down-turbo.html
No Husband, No House, No Dog. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Slow down, Turbo. Grace, poise, eloquence. Not exactly words I would EVER use to describe myself. Especially not after what I did to myself approximately 2 weeks ago. What did I tell you about re-enactments? Moral of the story: Re-enactments are dangerous. Here are some super flattering pics of the nose progress. Hospital pic (Josh is a lucky, lucky man). Day 2- hmm, that is one swollen nose. Day 4ish- Yep, not so straight. But I enjoyed reading ...

No Husband, No House, No Dog...: July 2011
http://nohusbandnohousenodog.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
No Husband, No House, No Dog. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. I've discovered a few things over this summer that I'd like to share:. 1 Osa likes vegetables, popsicles and fruit more than her own food. The other day, I caught her carrying around a piece of celery and it looked like a doggy cigar. It made me laugh. 2 I'm no longer really a fan of the sun. In fact, I kind of hate it- it scares me. Gone are the days of laying by the pool working on my tan. 50 SPF and a hat for me please! 7 I'm totally addicted to ...

No Husband, No House, No Dog...: December 2010
http://nohusbandnohousenodog.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
No Husband, No House, No Dog. Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Going back to Prom! I literally went to Prom last weekend! With my company. TMA brought back "Prom's second chance", and all the prom-goers came out for fun and festivities. The theme was flexible, and totally up for interpretation. Of course there were a few people who wore 'normal' clothes, but I work for a creative agency, so most costumes were, um, out of the box? 16 and pregnant- sucks, but you take what life throws at you. Don't mind if I do!

No Husband, No House, No Dog...: February 2011
http://nohusbandnohousenodog.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
No Husband, No House, No Dog. Thursday, February 24, 2011. So I'm sure all of you have heard Gaga's new song, seen her in an egg, noticed her strange flesh colored veins she's had permanently adhered to her face. There's no denying this woman is one strange cookie. I gotta say though, her message (although out there) is rather liberating. And for the millions of people who struggle with insecurities and misunderstanding and hatred aimed at them, perhaps her message means even more. Just put your paws up.

Up in the Air: Big Kid Job (sorta)
http://upintheairblogo.blogspot.com/2011/02/big-kid-job-sorta.html
Up in the Air. Me, my dog, my life. Monday, February 7, 2011. Big Kid Job (sorta). So, in case you haven't heard, I got an internship at the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics). For those of you who don't know (like somebody actually reads this. yeah, right), the NAIA performs basically all the same functions as the NCAA, but governs over smaller schools (Haskell, Benedictine, Mid-America Nazarence, etc.). Ladder Pong is a glorious invention (basically it's ping pong on a big confere...

(A NuTsHeLL): Number 7
http://lyoakum.blogspot.com/2013/07/number-7.html
I'm not getting any sleep! I keep waking up in the middle of the night. Sometimes it's because I have heartburn or acid reflux (I don't really know the difference) and sometimes it's because this crazy little peanut inside my belly is kicking the night away. Other times I have no idea why I'm suddenly awake and staring out the window. Thank goodness I have Kia. She always knows when I'm awake. She comes crawling up to have her belly rubbed. Then she sits up and stares at me. That must be nice. So I just ...
