Here’s my gallery of me in Bilbao. Bilbao is the largest city in the Basque Country and has seen an increase in tourism since the opening of the Guggenheim Museum in 1997. As usual click on the pictures to enlarge them. Outside the Guggenheim Museum – an art museum which has helped increase the number of tourists coming to the city. I made friends with Puppy, a large dog covered in flowers outside the Guggenheim – he’s a good boy. I make friends with everyone – even if they look big and scary!

So, for a number of weeks I was dreading the lessons with one of the children. I felt like I couldn’t engage them with English. They were okay watching films but then barely wrote anything for the comprehension questions I wrote about the film and so I felt they were getting very little from their lessons. Puente Colgante de Portugalete. April 4, 2015. Bilbao sits on a river and this river runs into the sea; this is why it is referred to as ‘la ría’ instead of ‘el río’. If you talk to locals, they feel that the actual city of Bilbao is relatively small and that the other areas are separate towns. When the towns are counted as part of the city it is counted as one of the largest in the country – if my memory serves me correctly, it is the 5th largest. Below you can see some pictures from my visit with Boots.

My Life as a Spartan. Back to School…. August 12, 2011 · Filed under Uncategorized. 183 Tagged back to school. MSU All-Girl Competitive Cheer Team. Summer is almost over and for the longest summer I’ve ever had it feels like it was pretty darn short. I’ve worked and played all my time away. In less then three weeks I’ll be back in my dorm with Beks and two new roommates, terribly missing my boyfriend. 😦. No matter how I feel about it, going back is inevitable, so I guess I just need to deal with it.
