New Orleans – April 07. What a great day. Friday, Apr 20 2007. Today I got to go to a local church and help with a lunch service for the community. I met some really wonderful people with very painful stories. I also got to tour the Lower 9th Ward. There were actual signs of life – city workers, homeowners. New Orleans – April 07. Well I’m goin’ to New Orleans! Thursday, Feb 7 2008. Back to N’awlins y’all! May 24-31st. Can’t wait. I can’t wait to get together with my Boston Cares friends and head back to the city the government forgot and do some more work. Things seem to be getting better by the day down there – Mardi Gras was full force this year, and I’d expect the same from Jazz Fest. New Orleans – April 07. Well, I’m back in New Orleans. Saturday, May 24 2008. And it’s great to be here. I flew down early with Nyna and was able to get some eating and sight seeing in. I’m staying at a GORGEOUS B&B near basecamp. Classic old New Orleans house. I would like to live here forever. Who can tell) was highly amused.
