IVF do you?: March 2009
http://ivfdoyou.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
IVF #1 was a success! I'm due February 11, 2009. Monday, March 30, 2009. I just got back from the specialist, and Petra DOES NOT have hip dysplasia! Apparently the ultrasounds are notoriously wrong. The doctor was SO NICE. He came in and examined her physically and said he didn't feel anything, but said we should do an x-ray just in case. She was a really good girl for her x-ray, and he showed me that she has totally healthy hips. He even pointed out some ball(? Saturday, March 28, 2009. Good news is the...

IVF do you?: May 2009
http://ivfdoyou.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
IVF #1 was a success! I'm due February 11, 2009. Friday, May 29, 2009. Well, she was up a lot more than usual last night, but it was pretty easy to get her back down, so I can't complain. And she has her usual nap schedule this morning, although it was hard to get her to sleep! Plus, she ended up sleeping on her side, not sure if I like that, but her nose/mouth were totally clear to breathe. I'm sticking with it through the weekend, though! Thursday, May 28, 2009. IVF #1 was a success! I'm due February 11, 2009. Monday, June 1, 2009. Mark took Miss P to the pool on Friday. He blew in her face to get her to hold her breath, and then DUNK! IVF do you?: August 2008
http://ivfdoyou.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
IVF #1 was a success! I'm due February 11, 2009. Friday, August 29, 2008. If we had stayed in CA, I would have got 18 weeks off total, with 12 weeks at 66%. And Mark would have had 2 weeks full pay and probably 4 weeks unpaid for FMLA. But we probably would have paid about $10k more for IVF, so I guess it works out. Now that I'm in my second tri, I'm still surprised at how un-pregnant I feel. I'm not showing much, don't feel the baby, haven't done much of anything to prepare for the baby. Feb see...Also,...

IVF do you?: April 2009
http://ivfdoyou.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
IVF #1 was a success! I'm due February 11, 2009. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. I swear Petra is changing so quickly! When we were in OK, she slept swaddled in a crib just fine! Good girl, but as much as I wanted to push her out of her swing and get her to STTN, it makes me sad to see her grow up. I didn't sleep in the nursery last night as usual, and I missed her! There were 5 babies on our side at Mark's family reunion. It was so fun to see them all together, and I felt so happy that we have Petra. Which i...

IVF do you?: September 2008
http://ivfdoyou.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
IVF #1 was a success! I'm due February 11, 2009. Friday, September 26, 2008. Birthplan- I can labor! At my first OB appt, they asked if I could have a normal labor since I had septum surgery. After leaving several messages for Dr. T, I got two replies- one said I could and the other said I'd need a C-section! So I just went in to see what he said about it. After waiting over 2 hours (ugh- how can this happen at every. Now to sign up for my baby/birthing classes! Wednesday, September 24, 2008. His mom is ...

IVF do you?: July 2008
http://ivfdoyou.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
IVF #1 was a success! I'm due February 11, 2009. Thursday, July 31, 2008. I had my first appt. at the OB's office. I'm so happy to say they were ON TIME, and I didn't feel like I was a number or being rushed through at all. I was a little worried about that, since it does seem to be a big practice. They also said my due date is 2/11/09 (instead of 2/10), but I'm not going to bother to change my ticker or anything. It isn't like babies are born on their due date anyway! Tuesday, July 29, 2008. A Million Skies: Disappointment and Expectations Go Hand in Hand
http://www.a-million-skies.com/2015/05/disappointment-and-expectations-go-hand.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Disappointment and Expectations Go Hand in Hand. Expectations and disappointment go hand in hand. It's simple, really. If you don't want to be disappointed, then don't expect anything from anyone. Hey.it's a win win. But, really.it's not. Shouldn't we expect certain things out of certain people? Without expectations we wouldn't be held accountable for anything. Would I pay the bills if I wasn't expected to? Would you call your mom, if you weren't expected to? People let you down.
