Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Salmon Fried Steak @ Chili's. Before I went "pesce", we had discovered Chili's Chicken Fried Steak on our second visit and on the third visit, I had already been pescetarian for a couple of months. So, no more chicken for me. Thankfully, they had a seafood version with salmon as the main dish and as good as the chicken version. Steamed broccoli and sweet corn on the cob. The corn was so good! It was juicy and sweet and all around yummy. Mon - Thurs : 11:00 am - 10:00 pm. I usual...

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Mushroom Risotto @ The Marmalade Pantry. Truffled Field Mushroom Risotto. And once again, a risotto dish to review. My main reason for heading to The Marmalade Pantry was for their red velvet cupcakes. Unfortunately, I went there too late (dinnertime) that they ran out of most of their cupcake selection. So that would have to be for another time. Since I've tried a somewhat similar dish from Jones the Grocer. Oriental Grilled King Salmon with soba and scallions. PS Serving size ...

Place on a plate, sprinkle with confectioners sugar and drizzle with maple syrup. Happy cooking and happy birthday to me! Their salad ...

The Pescetarian Eats: Burrito, Quesadilla & Nachos @ Viva Mexico
http://pescetarianeats.blogspot.com/2010/12/burrito-quesadilla-nachos-viva-mexico.html
Saturday, December 11, 2010. Burrito, Quesadilla and Nachos @ Viva Mexico. According to Time Out Singapore. This is one of the closest you can find for authentic Mexican food. Some reviewers commented not to expect "tex-mex" style food here. I don't know if it's true or not, whatever it was - it was delicious. And it was sweet, herby and refreshing to eat with the burrito. The verdict was we would definitely go back. The next time we'll skip the appetizers in order to appreciate the main courses more.
