July 29th: Seely Anne is 7 months now. She is a delight to have in our home. She has been sitting up now for a month or so and can scoot around, backwards. She is a happy kid and we love her smile and her easy-going personality. She eats anything I give her and drinks from a sippy cup. She still looks just like her dad. Seely, we love you! Paul and April came and stayed with us on the 3rd. We went fishing up the mountain at Ferron. April caught the biggest, way to go Ape! I think she looks like her mama.

Sunday, January 4, 2009. Today is our anniversary too! We have been married for two years, it's crazy that it was two years ago that we were truckin thru a massive snowstorm up in bountiful digging cars out in our suits and all sorts of fun stuff. Wednesday, November 12, 2008. I can’t believe how fast the last couple of months have gone… Thanks to Carrie’s harassing message I am now writing on our blog to let peeps catch up on the Ashton Life. We made sure to take some pictures of the after effect blisters that took place. Gross! Here is a picture of one of the many blisters Gaven got from his run. I really love the fall season. The crisp cool air, the colors of the leaves, and the smells of pumkin spice and such. I turn into a widow however with all of the hunts my husband is involved in. The hunting doesn't begin with the actual hunt, they have to go and scout around. It's a good thing they have four wheelers which don't take as much gas! My first pair of booties. Our little angel is 9 months! She enjoys getting into what ever she shouldn't be into and eating whatever she can find. I can see the tops of her two bottom teeth, and she really hasn't been grumpy. 1 29 oz can pure pumpkin. 1 12 oz can evaporated milk. 1 box yellow cake mix. 1 cup chopped pecans. 190; cup melted margarine. Preheat oven to 350. Mix first 6 ingredients until well blended, and pour batter into 9x13 inch greased pan. Sprinkle cake mix on top, and then cover with pecans. Pour melted margarine over top. Bake 50 min. We have decided to name our baby girl Seely but we are questioning how to spell it. The name comes from my great grandmother's maiden name. It was spelled 'Seeley'. We were pretty set on spelling it 'Seely' but now I wonder if we should have it like Grandma Jen's. I just don't know! Any opinions on the matter? How important is the spelling? Seely Anne is 5 months now. 15 lbs. Time sure goes fast. She is a happy baby with a lot of smiles. She loves to talk and squeel. We are working on rolling, and she has done it twice. Seely Anne was blessed Feb 1st. We made it to church on time ( I was a little worried that she might not cooperate but she did great)! Her father did a wonderful job and blessed her with many nice things. I am grateful for the priesthood and the men who worthily hold it in my family and Aaron's. It was a special day for all of us.
