Mom: No sweetheart that is just something someone made up to describe little boys because boys like puppy dogs and snakes and snails. We have this poem on the wall in their playroom and I guess he was just thinking about it today.). This is such a cute age! On the other hand I'm sure sometime tomorrow or later this week I will be looking at the calendar wishing school would start sooner. There is just no pleasing me I guess!

Thursday, August 27, 2009. Tired, Hungry and 3. So, Dylan was on one this morning - BIG surprise. He refused to eat his omelet. He would only scream for milk, and when I calmly explained to him that he needed to ask politely, he replied at the top of his lungs with, "PLEASE, MILK! Oh, no no, I don't think so. He was lucky I was in a good mood this morning or the Tabasco sauce would have made an appearance. Even after a hug and some kind words from Mom, he wasn't sold. Until. . .da da da. Came on the scene.

Ken, Jen, Kadi, Jaimee, Jacob, Kolton. Monday, December 14, 2009. One of our favorite things to do for the christmas season decortate the tree. We love the lights and the glow that they bring to the home. We like to add something every year, and found ribbon that lights up it adds some color to the white tree. Though Kens comments it looks like a candy cane. So now when I look at it, it does look like one. Thanks alot ken. Oh i think the tree looks wonderful and colorful. I like the ribbon!

We talked about the importance of keeping a record and we each told of something we had done that summer that we wanted to remember. The one I mentioned was getting together with my cousins. We have been asked by our stake presidency to visit the site that the Gilbert Temple is going to be built, as the construction goes along to document for our family the progress of the build. This was our first visit they have not even yet broken ground but have started the preparation to do so. It was fun to see all families there most in white shirts, I think we will try that next.
