Carolyn Jewel's Scandal was the perfect break from the line of books I have been reading. (I am addicted to Jane Ann Krentz right now.). Ms Jewel has some wonderful advice for writers on her webpage. I love to start my day with a Starbucks Venti Iced Green Tea, no syrup, one Splenda. Oh so delicious! And green tea is a great fat burner. Sunday, 2 October 2011. 曾經有前輩對我說，比起社會新聞,政治新聞更容易掌握。他解構，政治新聞比較硬式化，題材資料已經在眼前，只等待發揮手中的大筆描寫春秋，任你怎麼寫，政治新聞終究離不開分析和預測。儘管採訪只有短短數年，但已經從中了解到自己到“路向”。我並非特別喜愛接觸社會各階層，只是覺得平民百姓有時比政客易相處。雖然一種米養百樣人，世上百姓難搞的多籮籮，不過他們遇到的問題通常離不開民生百態。將這些“故事”整理成新聞的過程，最主要是把訊息簡單傳達給讀者和有關當局就可以，不需天花龍鳳，畫蛇添足。寫政治新聞卻不是說故事那麼簡單。對政黨及整個政壇趨勢不了解者，很難落筆。寫得太過片面，讀之乏味，不如不寫；寫得太精彩，又恐顧此失彼，處處顧慮。開始新部落格之後，寫了三篇便踌躇不前。這種猶豫不決，到現在還是存在。近期工作上遇到很多新鮮事物，事事均感受深刻，但一坐在這裡對著“發表新文章”的框子時，卻總勾劃不出具體的概念。嘗試寫一些，不過不排除會不斷更改內容，即使文筆不太流暢，但對自己還是有一定的要求。 Monday, 26 September 2011. 常遇情況1： ...

Running. A love/hate relationship. Sunday, February 12, 2012. Was out running 4.35 miles in 47m:46s using Endomondo. I really like Endomondo. I like the lady that chimes in and lets me know how far I've gone, my total time, and my lap time. It motivates me to do just one more mile. M stubborn knee was hurting again today and it was difficult to walk at the very end. Hopefully ice will take care of it. Overall though, great run! Tuesday, January 31, 2012.
