LIB DEM BLOG OF THE YEAR 2013. Thursday, 28 May 2015. Come and talk about Liberal/Green co-operation. I had a small wobble in the middle of the general election. It happened when I came home and found the Green Party's local election address gracing my doormat. I glanced at it, looked more closely and for a moment I felt myself lost. I agreed with it. But most of all, I found I was sceptical about their strapline - For the Common Good. Of course, you don't want politicians who are somehow against. The co...

Ed Mayo's Blog. The power of co-operation. The first Community Economic Development programme for a generation, open soon…. Posted by ed mayo. Ed Mayo's Blog. The power of co-operation. In from the cold…the growing case for a new money system. Posted by ed mayo. And Joseph Huber, for which I happened to write the foreword. Re-reading my foreword, I think it remains a reasonable introduction to the case for some such monetary reform. The co-operative ideal is one of change.

LIB DEM BLOG OF THE YEAR 2013. Thursday, 30 April 2015. The emerging rage with Labour. It isn't an uncommon experience during the election to stare open-mouthed, night after night, at the television - staggered that nobody else seems to see things the way you do. That is partly a sign of mild instability, of course. But it may also be a ubiquitous experience for sane people as well. It is an odd election, after all. Last night put them on just 33 per cent. But Scotland is a symptom of the same basic prob...

Rediscover and connect nurturing of imagination for health and wider connection to the environment. I lost my dad two years ago during his last days the only safe retreat he had was his imagination. The time we spent together exploring his senses and imagination got me thinking about the importance of the nurturing the imagination not only for our health but also to help us connect to the wider environment. This experience has inspired my latest garden collaboration Haven. May and June 7. April 26, 2014.
