Some students are still learning letter names while others are ready for initial sounds. I stamped the back with a Stamping Up! Set so I can use them for both groups. Then we added the paper bag turkeys with pattern leaves. Witch's Stew Halloween Counting Center. Students follow the recipe to put the ingredients into the witch's cauldron. The students read a word and then peek behind it. There may be a coin for them to add to their piggy bank.
