The House on Long Hill: Rainy Day
http://thehouseonlonghill.blogspot.com/2013/03/rainy-day.html
The House on Long Hill. Sunday, March 10, 2013. Had big plans for at least part of the day but woke up to cool, rainy morning. Have to take family member to appointment at noon so guess that will take up most of late AM and early PM. We need the rain however, the flowers I planted day before yesterday look bright and perky and I'm sure the vegetables have all grown overnight. This is a perfect day to read my new books so I will try not to feel as though it is a wasted day. Posted by House On Long Hill.

The House on Long Hill: My old AOL Journal is still alive !
http://thehouseonlonghill.blogspot.com/2008/10/my-old-aol-journal-is-still-alive.html
The House on Long Hill. Tuesday, October 21, 2008. My old AOL Journal is still alive! My old AOL Journal successfully transferred although I am afraid my many AOL Home pages are gone forever. I doubt I would ever take time to make them again and I had no luck at all in trying to move them. I have been doing a little Halloween decorating, not as much as usual but we have no trick or treaters anymore, they have all grown up and gone away and most of the neighboring places are owned by CITY PEOPLE who just ...

The House on Long Hill: March 2004
http://thehouseonlonghill.blogspot.com/2004_03_01_archive.html
The House on Long Hill. Thursday, March 18, 2004. Food, Exercise and All That Stuff. Along with a few stretchs every day and an occasional half day spent cleaning these darn off white [now dingy tan] carpets those walks are my main exercise for now. Well, my mom should have published a book about weight control, she had it down pat: "Eat a little less, move around a little more". Gol' darn it, Mom, you could have made the family rich if you had only published that 1 page book! Posted by House On Long Hill.

The House on Long Hill: November 2004
http://thehouseonlonghill.blogspot.com/2004_11_01_archive.html
The House on Long Hill. Saturday, November 13, 2004. We don't own the world and the sooner we admit it, the better. Everyone does not want to be like us, even though most Americans do not believe it. That's all for tonight, want to finish reading "Skipping Christmas" [even though I think I can guess how it will turn out] before calling it a day. Posted by House On Long Hill. http://thehouseonlonghill.blogspot.com/2009/01/happy-new-year.html
The House on Long Hill. Friday, January 2, 2009. Another year.another bunch of resolutions I probably won't keep and the inevitable feeling of "Oh my God.another year just flew by and now that is one more gone of the paltry few I have left".what a horrible thought! I always overbuy at holiday time and everything is just crammed in there.time for my budget month to take effect and use up some of the stuff I have already bought and spend no more than $100 this month on groceries. Alone in the Garden.

The House on Long Hill: July 2005
http://thehouseonlonghill.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
The House on Long Hill. Monday, July 18, 2005. This weather is just too much! Too much heat, too much humidity too much sitting around waiting for it to cool off. However, complaining won't change it and so I will get on with life. My patio garden is full and I still have a ton of things to plant.Found a great sale after I thought I was about done and brought home about 4or 5 more flats, mostly annuals that need to get into containers post haste! Catch up later, still have things to do tonight. Hi From U...
