BURLESON, TEXAS - On March 6, 2010 Express Motor 330 completed its last run to the Loyless Interurban Drugstore, opening a new chapter in the history of the first interurban express motor purchased by the Northern Texas Traction Company in 1902. Interurban Express Motor 330. Updated March 7, 2010. The first interurban express car in Texas now resides at the Heritage Visitors Center in Burleson. Built by the G.C. Kuhlman Car Company. Of Cleveland, Ohio in 1902 for the Northern Texas Traction Company, the express motor ran the rails between Fort Worth and Dallas as Car 12 until the NTTC christened a new line south from Fort Worth to Cleburne in 1912. Here is the former Dallas PCC owned by McKinney Avenue Transit Authority in Dallas TX. This car was sold to the transit company in Boston MA. after the closing of the streetcar lines in Dallas.
