Not Your Everyday Mary. More rambling from a home schooling mother and artist, on her family's journey to Italy and beyond. Friday, May 16, 2014. Perhaps when life began to throw me curve balls. As we get older, we have more experiences under our belts and not all of them are good. I remember saying to a friend in University I had never been to a funeral, then I wound up going to 2 in the following month! Yes, she dies! I guess the whole HIMYM thing just struck a chord with me, hit too close to home....

Not Your Everyday Mary. More rambling from a home schooling mother and artist, on her family's journey to Italy and beyond. Saturday, July 20, 2013. I still cry a lot. Sometimes for myself, but mostly for others. It has been one month now since our house flooded. One crazy month. After saving and salvaging what we could from the house, then sorting, cleaning and storing everything, we moved on to dealing with insurance and applying for disaster relief. Not Your Everyday Mary. More rambling from a home schooling mother and artist, on her family's journey to Italy and beyond. Saturday, July 28, 2012. So many places, so little time. Last month we decided to go to the beach, something we had been trying to do for a couple of months ever since there was a warm spell in the early spring. Not Your Everyday Fairy Tale
Not Your Everyday Fairy Tale. Once upon a time or about nineteen years ago, I met my Prince. It only took me seventeen years to realize it. Wednesday, June 24, 2015. In good news, things have been a lot less vanilla around here. Especially over the past week. Does he need this? Does he want this? Is he happy with this or would he rather be like we were? Why do I have this enormous need to please everybody? How can someone love someone like me? Daddy says I like what I like. He likes what he likes....

Not Your Everyday Reader
Not Your Everyday Reader. Monday, September 30, 2013. E-book Vs. Real Book. I have never been a fan of E-book and always preferred the real book. Why? However lately I rarely buy books. I only bought two books for the last three years. I do swap books online (Bookmooch) though or borrow from friends. My budget for books has gone to my son's story books and picture books. And I also have limited space for books in our new house that I have to give away or sell some old books. Friday, April 26, 2013. I read...
