http://untestedrapekits.blogspot.com/2010/10/analysis-post.html
Friday, October 15, 2010. When I was first introduced to the topic of the thousands of untested rape kits across America I was sitting at home watching the CNN Evening News and it was showing Mariska Hartigay’s emotional testimony. Since she plays Detective Benson in Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Which did an episode to shed light on the topic. In 2008, where the took an inventory of the backlog in Los Angeles, CA. Also has a backlog. CBS News investigated. This topic and compiled a list. And the ...

Untested Rape Kits: Theory Post
http://untestedrapekits.blogspot.com/2010/10/theory-post_26.html
Tuesday, October 26, 2010. In my debate there are two sides: the victim’s and the state’s. The state does recognize the fact that the backlog is a bad thing; however it says that there is not enough time or resources to test all of the kits in the backlog. The victims, their families, and their supporters, like the Human Rights Watch. Do not believe that the lack of resources should be a factor in the testing process. They believe that the kits should be tested no matter what. October 26, 2010 at 9:05 PM.

Untested Rape Kits: Rape Victim Advocacy
http://untestedrapekits.blogspot.com/2010/11/rape-victim-advocacy.html
Friday, November 5, 2010. Rape is considered to be a rather taboo subject. It is not often discussed in regular conversations. What most people know about rape and the aftermath is from televisions shows like Law and Order: SVU. But these shows only focus on the process of catching the perpetrator and getting a conviction. More often than not, there is no focus on how the victims cope with the traumatic experience. This is where rape victim advocates. Providing information about the trauma of rape. Subsc...

Friday, November 5, 2010. Current Legislation in Congress to End the Backlog. While the Debbie Smith Act is a wonderful piece of legislation, there is room for improvement. The act gives money to states and cities to be given to local law enforcement agencies. However, it does not require the state or the city to report the progress, if any, or enforce the agency to attempt to reduce and prevent a backlog. The Combined DNA Index System). Representatives Al Franken (D-MN), Charles Grassley (R-IA), Dianne ...

Mosque in Manhattan?: The Mosque: Implications
http://mosqueman2010.blogspot.com/2010/10/mosque-implications.html
Wednesday, October 20, 2010. I believe the biggest implication will be for the American people. If an agreement can’t be met then the tolerance of the American People. Will suffer. If the Mosque is not allowed to be built the people of America will not be fully educated about the Islam faith. People will continue to be biased towards Muslims, thus causing more anti-Muslim feelings in this country. With the increase in anti-Muslim feelings people will begin to become intolerent. Mosque in Manhattan?: The Mosque by the Numbers
http://mosqueman2010.blogspot.com/2010/10/mosque-by-numbers.html
Thursday, October 7, 2010. The Mosque by the Numbers. After reading the comments on my blog, I decided to hunker down and do a little research. I scoured the net in order to provide hard data to present to you, my followers. What I found is this, in a poll taken by the New York Times. It is shown that. Portrayed Muslims in the news, then in 2007 the same poll went out and only fifty-seven percent of Muslim-Americans believe that the media is unfairly portraying Muslims. This trend in data firmly supports...
