Conversations about global climate change. More change we can “see”. I found this short article. About how birds’ migration patterns in northern Europe are temporally and spatially changing. In some areas they are occurring about a month later than they did 30 years ago and some species are not migrating as far south as they once did. Conversations about global climate change. New book: Green Illusions: The Dirty Secrets of Clean Energy and the Future of Environmentalism. A friend of mine just finished a book project on the use of alternative energy from an environmentalist perspective. He concludes that what we really face is a consumption crisis, not necessarily an energy crisis. Similar to some of our discussions in class, he is asking whether or not we have a society capable of being powered by alternative energy. November 16, 2011.

By Joe Romm at “Climate Progress” about polls measuring the public’s belief in global warming. The takeaway from the post?
