The drawings and photographs of carriages and automobiles on our Web pages are from the estate of G. Carson Baker. The images are representative of his career at the James Cunningham, Son and Company from 1899-1936 where he served first as woodworker, then draftsman, and finally Senior Body Designer in the automobile division. Carson's father, Charles. Also made his career with the company before him (and with him) from 1870 until the mid 1920s, as a skilled woodcarver and special-finish carriage painter.
