A flurry of dog adoptions occurred at the Gurdon Animal Shelter last week. Animal control officer Ty Oppelt had the assistance of Shane and Janet Smith from Georgia. The Smiths were in Gurdon last all last week as part of special “Gurdon Arkansas Animal Shelter Pardon” that was signed by Gurdon Mayor Clayton Franklin.
