reasonably rational: Movie ratings for mental health
http://unreasonablyrational.blogspot.com/p/movie-ratings-for-mental-health.html
Reasonably, as in, not perfect but acceptable. Movie ratings for mental health. Movie ratings for mental health. One of my friends agreed with me that it would be nice if there were mental health warning ratings for movies. Because sometimes I can't handle a suicide, suicide attempt, or a mental hospitalization in the movies I watch. So here is a beginning. Obviously, if you don't want any spoilers at all, you shouldn't read my list. :). Intense, but ends well. Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story (2009).

http://unreasonablyrational.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-mother-day-lament.html
Reasonably, as in, not perfect but acceptable. Movie ratings for mental health. Sunday, May 10, 2015. A Mothers Day Lament. People sometimes recognize that mother's day can be hard if your mother has passed away. Or if you had a rough relationship with your mom. Or if you are struggling through infertility. And they should recognize this pain. But what about the single lady who just doesn't have a significant other nor a baby? What about the baby i wish i had? Seriously, i don't get this whole illness th...

http://unreasonablyrational.blogspot.com/2015/05/caution-subject-might-be-triggering.html
Reasonably, as in, not perfect but acceptable. Movie ratings for mental health. Sunday, May 24, 2015. CAUTION subject might be triggering. I hate depression and anxiety. Let me fill this first paragraph with nothing so you have time to leave and read a happier post if that is a better way to take care of your self. Depression and anxiety are robbers. They steal life. They steal energy. They steal joy. They steal time. They steal rest. They steal bits and pieces of life. May 25, 2015 at 8:27 PM. A Mothers...

reasonably rational: NAMI AIR anonymous support app
http://unreasonablyrational.blogspot.com/2015/06/nami-air-anonymous-support-app.html
Reasonably, as in, not perfect but acceptable. Movie ratings for mental health. Sunday, June 21, 2015. NAMI AIR anonymous support app. Through their magazine, i learned about NAMI's app, NAMI AIR. It lets you post anonymously, more anonymously than a blog. Much more anonymously than Facebook. But similar to Facebook, you can read posts from other people, only without a name or profile picture. Like Facebook, you can "like" something. But what about the sad posts? In conclusion, i really like this app....

reasonably rational: Dear Louisa
http://unreasonablyrational.blogspot.com/2015/06/dear-louisa.html
Reasonably, as in, not perfect but acceptable. Movie ratings for mental health. Sunday, June 7, 2015. Dear Louisa, i know your name isn't Louisa, but it seems a little insensitive to use your real name on a blog post. But i really am writing to you, or to the idea of you, or the memory of you, seeing as i don't know if you get to read blogs in heaven at this point. Firstly, i love you. I believe you knew that. But I'd like to tell you again, even though i understand it wouldn't change things. Don't worry...

http://unreasonablyrational.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Reasonably, as in, not perfect but acceptable. Movie ratings for mental health. Saturday, April 25, 2015. Well, i got a new-to-me car. And got my old car fixed. And I'm exhausted. Which leads to my more typical weariness as opposed to the weariness of finding and bargaining for a car, a situation that i knew would bring stress to even the most mentally healthy person out there. Of course, there is also the issue of my deeper depression bouts overshadowing it both in immediacy and in depth of pain. And th...

Reasonably, as in, not perfect but acceptable. Movie ratings for mental health. Sunday, May 25, 2014. Perhaps you've heard the acronym HALT - Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired. I would add Stressed and Sick to it. Well, I'm going to make a try at sleeping. Sometimes it helps me not stress out as much about insomnia if I have a plan: If my normal routine fails, I can. lets see. I could turn on the tv and watch something fairly boring. I think that would actually work. A friend's husband is going to fix it....

http://unreasonablyrational.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Reasonably, as in, not perfect but acceptable. Movie ratings for mental health. Saturday, August 9, 2014. My "results" might have included better days at work, but the better days might have happened anyway - after all, were I to get an unrelated adverse effect never before experienced, I would be asked if there was any other factor in my life besides the remedy that could have caused it. But can you imagine the response I'd get if the medication sent me into a psychiatric emergency and I went to the hos...

Reasonably, as in, not perfect but acceptable. Movie ratings for mental health. Sunday, October 12, 2014. Struggling past my own mind. Well, I've tried twice, but the photo is not uploading. But it is of my new mini fridge. Only the new one is bigger than my old one. And most important of all, it has a separate door for the freezer. For the first time in over two years, I can buy frozen food and actually expect to keep it frozen! So that is my happy news. Thankfully my eyes seem good at hiding tears (or ...
