The Family: May 2010
http://thefamilyandmore.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 20, 2010. February. Huh. Didn't think it had been that long! Maybe I'll get some pictures up soon or post my review of kindergarten with Anna or a recipe or something. Something. I was just reading the Beatitudes in Matthew 5. It's really easy to pray for verses 3-9 - meekness, comfort, gentleness, righteousness, mercy, purity of heart, peace. Verses 10-11? I mean, it's not like I'd be rewording or falsifying Scripture. Wrong answer. I do. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Family: April 2015

Friday, April 17, 2015. So, it seems blogging has taken a multi year slump. Thinking about resurrecting it again, as a sort of online journal sans the "oh look at me! Narcissism that Facebook seems to feed in me. Blogging also kept me current with fun memories or events without the melancholy that my personal journaling contains. And now, a picture. The Family: January 2010
http://thefamilyandmore.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 29, 2010. Right now, Anna is reading on the couch and trying to carry a conversation with me, Philip is banging around his room not. Links to this post. Labels: keepin it real. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. A bike rack for the van and a pull behind trailer for Peter and maybe Philip to ride in. An aside - how does one end that sentence w/out a dangling participle? I know, it's months away, but one must have something enticing to help push through the winter doldrums. Links to this post.

The Family: September 2009
http://thefamilyandmore.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 30, 2009. I've had brilliant blog posts - in my brain. My house has been finally decluttered- in my brain. Anna does schoolwork regularly and cheerfully - in my brain. Philip quickly obeys - ah ha ha. Peter sleeps all night! Once again, only in my brain. Frustrating, ain't it? Though at swim lessons today, I was chatting with other more experienced homeschool moms, and my life is normal. Yippeee! And now, here's pictures. Links to this post. The Family: April 2012
http://thefamilyandmore.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Just posting so that in years to come, I can look back and remember that not all was rosy but we tried. Last week we started learning the catechism with our kiddos using this book. When other people say things like that, I suddenly jealously get an image of shining little faces, quiet and attentive to their parents words, ready to have their hearts changed. Wipe that away. Real life, at least here, is noisy (um, 3 boys plus a talkative sister, okay? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Family: October 2009

Sunday, October 25, 2009. Good Eats This Week. I made too much curried food this week, so I owed my husband some decent food. Here's what we've had lately. Greek Lemon Chicken with Potatoes. The combo of lemon and garlic, mmmm. A friend posted this recipe on Facebook. Who says FB is a waste of time? And just for the record, we had frozen pizza and applesauce earlier this week, and the kids have had frozen chicken nuggets twice in the last 4 days. Sunset from the Chapel lawn this evening.
