Our Life as a Family of 7! Thank you for joining our journey to West Africa and now back home with our five children! Thursday, June 18, 2009. Our caseworker called today and guess what? M"'s fingerprints have been sitting somewhere for a month. They were done when mine were. Hmmm.well, we could be frustrated or we could look at this as God's way of delaying things for a very specific reason. Maybe the children waiting for us aren't even there yet. We'll see! Ghana get Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice. Our Journey to Adopt! Saturday, May 1, 2010. We've been back in the states for a week now. I was definitely in a fog for the first few days - a physical fog - a mental fog - and definitely an emotional fog. Jet-lag for sure. I woke up Sunday am at 4:30 am and then had a hamburger for 'breakfast' at 9:30 am! I don't want to sit on a pew and be still. I want to dance and shout. I want to swim in the rushing River of Life. I want to feel His current...This week...

AND with her arm dangling and a bone poking out. It was awful! We felt so sorry for her. Afterwards the doctor came out and said all wen...

Our Journey to Four

Tuesday, December 23, 2008. We are way overdue in posting this, but wanted to close out our adoption blog with Grace's first birthday celebrated here in the US. On December 7, 2008, our little girl turned four! Here she is at Chuck E Cheese's:. Playing on the phone (a favorite thing to do) with Chuck E Cheese. Popping in the window to say hi, while crawling through the tunnel. Ryan, a neighbor, is peeking from behind. Mommy and Grace with the birthday cake! Gracelynn, all dressed in her new cooking outfit.
