Our Journey with Multiple Myeloma. Thursday, April 4, 2013. An Angel gets his wings. My honey was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in October, 2010. Seven months prior to that, in March, Mike Murray from our neighboring state of Alabama was diagnosed. Mike's wife, Angie, and I became friends through a mutual friend, Dina, who knew that we had something in common.husbands with the same type of incurable cancer. Angie explained that Mike's MM was very aggressive, and he would probably always be on treatment.

As much as the blog has come to mean to me these last few years, I just haven’t been able to make myself sit down and write lately. On Monday October 8. I took Tanner over to see Dr. Berryman in Dallas for his monthly appointment and could tell right away that he wasn’t in a good mood – but was, instead, quiet and withdrawn. There was so much fear and anger all tied up together inside of him at that moment.
