The Brunjes: June 2008
http://donnyandlaurasblog.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
From our family to yours. Sunday, June 22, 2008. Friday, June 20, 2008. I only got pictures of Donny on it, but Joe rode it with Afton too, and I'm told that Little Al took it for a spin or two before we got there. In fact, he took Katy for a ride after Donny went inside. So they all got a turn. Donny taking for a solo ride. Look at that face - you can almost hear his sound effects. Katy loved riding on it so much that she'd run after it when it wasn't her turn. Wednesday, June 11, 2008. It's time for bed.

The Richards Family: January 2010
http://bbrichards.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 14, 2010. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We had a fun Christmas Eve. We did nativity puppets while we read in Luke, had appetizers for dinner and read "mickey's" Christmas story before we went to bed. Marriner was so excited and Chase, of course, could not wait for morning. I must have been enjoying the moment far too much to take pictures! Mom made us all matching jammies. Here are some pictures of the kiddos patiently getting impatient. I love how Abby is cradling Gretchen's head.

Jenn's Recipes: Hawaiian Haystacks
http://jennscookbook.blogspot.com/2008/04/hawaiian-haystacks.html
Sunday, March 13, 2011. This recipe is one I got from my Aunt Camille when I went off to college. I had never had Hawaiian haystacks before then. On the Lanier side of the family it is a tradition to have this for dinner each General Conference Sunday. It is an easy meal to prepare for a crowd. 1 Chicken breast cooked and shredded. 1 Can cream of chicken soup. 1 C chicken broth. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix together in saucepan and let simmer for 5 minutes. Serve over rice and then add desired toppings.

After Laurie was born her daughter stopped by with a gift and this grape salad. I thought that was the sweetest thing- she remembered how much I liked it. 1/4 C orange juice. 1 8oz softened cream cheese. Stir 1 large bunch of green or red grapes. Add: 1/2 C. chopped pecans. Sweet and Sour Chicken. Strawberry Filled Angel Food Cake.
