BUNNY FLIES FOR STEELHEAD. Click the photo to enlarge and see details. This fly measures 4-5 inches in length and is tied fairly sparse. Black, pink and chartreuse with a hint of blue make this fly deadly under any conditions. Everything a steelhead could want. Tied on a heavy wire shank with 30lb Fireline threaded through the rabbit. This makes for a durable fly with good movement and the convenience of a changeable hook. Brass conehead for weight. Each fly fitted with size 2 Gamakatsu Octopus hook.

There is quite a bit of grass and floating moss which makes the nymph fishing pretty tough.just slap it off and get it back out there. Drowned Tricos are the ticket in the morning. Saturday, August 1, 2015. Fishing Report - North Fork Shoshone River. Did a half day on the North Fork yesterday, on about noon off at 5pm. Fishing was good, had chances at about 20 fish running a dry/dropper rig. We had quite a few eats on the big dry but most fish landed ate the Turd.
