Spaghetti Bolognese: December 2005
http://stevebelleguelle.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 08, 2005. Well now I have a bad back too! After going down a few times on my own, H and I went down together. Boy was it a fast ride, and boy was the bump we hit big, and BOY did it hurt when we landed again! I don't just have a sore back though, I am typing this blog leaning slightly to the right to take the pressure off the left half of my posterior which is feeling rather sorry for itself. Hopefully I shall recover soon. God bless you,. Posted by Steve at 8:50 pm. I do love the snow...

Spaghetti Bolognese: February 2006
http://stevebelleguelle.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 14, 2006. Yep we finally got to go on the skidoos on Saturday! We’d never been on them before in our lives, so another first in Canada. For those who don’t know what a skidoo is, erm, see the pictures below! Goodness only knows what fuel the baddies use. We were probably out for around half-an-hour and then we went back to the house. After Val and Heather went in I then went out solo following Cody. If the first ride was fun, this next ride was amazing! Thai curry - Mmmm. Today’s excite...

Spaghetti Bolognese: June 2006
http://stevebelleguelle.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 24, 2006. Well, it's 3 days until we leave Lloyd and people have been inviting us out for food left, right and centre! It's so nice to know that we're really appreciated and that people want to get time in with us before we leave. On Thursday we had lunch with the church staff at Spiro's where I had a steak and then Heather and I shared a greek dessert called baklava - extremely good indeed! Heather's had enough of it for the moment though. So that's what we've been doing, apart from windi...

Spaghetti Bolognese: October 2005

Monday, October 17, 2005. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.". On Sunday morning Heather and I heard, along with the rest of the church, the sad news that one of our friends, Lorne Drover, had died in the night. He was nearing his seventies and was in good health, but the Lord decided it was time to take him home. Where, oh death, is your victory? Where, oh death, is your sting? Our prayers are for Verna, that God would comfort and support her through a painful time. Unfortunat...

Spaghetti Bolognese: August 2006
http://stevebelleguelle.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 13, 2006. On Thursday Heather and I celebrated 15 years of being married - it's a scary thought knowing that we've been married for almost as long as some of our friends have been alive - eek! God has truly blessed me with a wonderful wife and I'm proud to be her husband. Always remember you're on the same side.". Whoah, I didn't expect to preach a mini sermon! As for me, I'm always delighted when I hear how long people have been together - even if they're celebrating their first anniversa...

Spaghetti Bolognese: April 2006
http://stevebelleguelle.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 21, 2006. Fun with rubber duckies! This week Heather and I are on holiday in Edmonton housesitting for our friends Gerry and Karen. We realised that this is the first prolonged time we have had on our own for six months, so it's a real treat, especially as there is a hot tub on the deck! We have taken advantage of this little luxury three times so far, including last night with Sasha who is studying in Edmonton and her friend Connie. We're ready to go. Going for a spin in the sink. So off w...

Spaghetti Bolognese: January 2006

Tuesday, January 31, 2006. The Naming of a Cat. Sheesh, who would have thought agreeing on a name for a cat would be such a hard task! The vet has his name as 'Biggles', his first names when we arrived were 'NoName' or 'Lumpy' (due to his hernia! How do you name a cat? The guinea pigs were easy, but how do you name a cat? The debate continues. Let's just try a quick poll, everyone but Jim is in the lounge watching TV, let's ask if they have a favourite. Please excuse me for a moment. Yoda meditates on th...

Friday, March 17, 2006. Double Death Raises Suspicions! A second death on Edward Street has raised great concerns within the Morpeth region. Two weeks ago we received reports of the demise of Fred the Diver in the establishment known to locals as. Fish, the fancy tailed shubunkin. A possible photo of Agent Dollface and. The Confusing Maple Leaf. Steve and Heather Belleguelle, close relatives of Mr. Fish and owners of The Fishtank were contacted and asked for their thoughts on the matter. Mr Belle...When ...

Wednesday, May 24, 2006. Lead Us Lord (Dream Again). For Christmas, Gord and Glenda Mosher gave me the CD ‘Today’ by Brian Doerksen. I already knew this was a wonderful CD, but it had a nostalgic element to it because it was always playing the church santuary when we first arrived in Lloydminster. (If you’re reading Tanys, here’s another album that has a memory attached to it. What do we do wherever we end up? Lead Us Lord (Dream Again). C) 2004 Integrity’s Hosanna! At a crossroads again. What is still t...
