Sunday, 23 May 2010. Chorizo Risotto Stuffed Squid with Garlic and Cayenne Roasted Harlequin Squash. As we have had such amazing weather this weekend I only thought it right for todays recipe to include grilling. Unfortunately however we now live in a flat with no balcony or garden so barbecues are out but we have a Foreman grill so I've just used that. Stuffing them sure was a task, but worth it. Like I said they were the smallest I've ever seen, the size I usually get would be much easier to fill.

Adventures in the Kitchen. Thursday, July 21, 2011. I would venture to say I had never had a true scallop experience until I was in college. Although not a true scallop virgin, before that I remember them (usually the tiny frozen bay variety) as rubbery, tasteless little orbs and I was definitely not a fan. (Sorry Mom). We had a quiet Thanksgiving sans turkey as opposed to last year when I hosted a large meal for 9. Big meals are great for the festivity and conversation, but quiet is nice too.
