Patient Fury: 03/2003 - 04/2003
http://patientfury.blogspot.com/2003_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 29, 2003. Real War, Real Risks. I wrote this before the war broke out, but never posted it because I was planning on writing more on civilian casualties and difficulties in occupying and finally rebuilding. Since then events have rather outpaced me, but I'm throwing this out for public consumption so that I can say I've posted something recently. Perhaps I'll get around to the occupation and reconstruction parts eventually. Posted by David at 9:28 PM. Monday, March 24, 2003. It's been a w...

Patient Fury: Expo Eve
http://patientfury.blogspot.com/2006/01/expo-eve.html
Monday, January 09, 2006. For those of you who don't know, tomorrow kicks off MacWorld Expo. Posted by David at 7:00 PM. I do oppose my patience to his fury. Beware the fury of a patient man. The intoxication of anger, like that of the grape, shows us to others, but hides us from ourselves. Patriotism is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime. View my complete profile. Patient Fury Site Feed. Crazy Apple Rumors Site. Monday, April 28, 2003. For me, Apple's new store is nice because I have never illegally downloaded a song from a "sharing" service and don't plan on starting. I now finally have a way to get music on demand. yea. The limitations aren't too restrictive either. Unlimited burning and use on three computers, plus streaming to any computer on a local network. Search options besides genre, title, artists, album and composer would be a nice addition though. Posted by David at 9:37 PM. Sunday, April 27, 2003.

Sunday, March 06, 2005. How can they defile Thee? At least there will always be me. What good or use of me You'll get. I know not, but I'll do as You see fit,. Try to bring the world to light. Before the sable curtain closes tight. Ever blocking those left from Right. Posted by David at 11:08 PM. Patient Fury Poetry: Nameless 18
http://patientfury2.blogspot.com/2005/03/nameless-18.html
Sunday, March 06, 2005. The golden sun sinks softly now. Below the sea, a gracious bow. Out of life and into the night. Great darkness, yet no scary sight. Embrace the calm, the cool, the crypt. As from mortal fabric you are ripped. The tear is violent, quick and sharp. But on this the dead never harp. Rather on peace and end of pain. Rest thoughts of those in death lain. Patient Fury Poetry: Top of the Fortress
http://patientfury2.blogspot.com/2005/03/top-of-fortress.html
Sunday, March 06, 2005. Top of the Fortress. The heart beats fast and yet so slow. As through the frozen air we go. Once Twice. Thrice. Upon this, our final flight. A large glass bubble in front of me. The world spread out for all to see. But I worry only of what lies ahead. For soon there may be many dead. And there Fast from twelve o'clock! Grasp the ice cold gun without thought. Bright, mesmerizing twinkling. Coming from the fighter's wing. My own shots must look the same,. With a rapid jerk of head.
Patient Fury Poetry: A simple celebration of creation, life, and love.
http://patientfury2.blogspot.com/2005/03/simple-celebration-of-creation-life.html
Sunday, March 06, 2005. A simple celebration of creation, life, and love. The sky a sullen blanket gray. But here and there a golden ray. Alights upon the pure white snow. Reflected there in splendid show. Tall trees with branches jut to sky,. A canopy o’er you and I. Twisting, turning, and full of life. Though winter winds a scathing knife. To leaves that covered branches bare. Now exposed to clear, frigid air. Slowly now we walk together. Nature’s beauty our strong tether. A mark of vibrancy in being.
Patient Fury Poetry: One Sunday Morning
http://patientfury2.blogspot.com/2005/03/one-sunday-morning.html
Sunday, March 06, 2005. A golden sun Pacific Dawn. Upon this island seems so long. Clear blue skies and a gentle breeze,. All the sights and delights of seas. Sitting on the placid bay. The steel grey ships in harbor lay. Haven from the winds and the waves. Where tired sailors pass their days. Church bells upon the wind float. Out to every peaceful boat. There is no hurried motion. For no soul yet has a notion. Harken to that distant sound. As of locusts swarming ground. But what a trivial matter this.
Patient Fury Poetry: Nameless 21
http://patientfury2.blogspot.com/2005/03/nameless-21.html
Sunday, March 06, 2005. I really cannot stand this more. These classes are just such a bore. And I don’t know what I’m doing. Like a cow in pasture mooing. I agree this is quite bizarre. Be glad it’s poems and not a car. Whizzing fast through a morphing sphere. Ignoring all that once was dear. To the left and now to the right. Fickle, fast, fading now out of sight. A string of words is but a blur. Quite convoluted to be sure. Yet it doesn’t desire rest,. Motivated by motion fest. California, United States.

Patient Fury Poetry: The End
http://patientfury2.blogspot.com/2005/03/end.html
Sunday, March 06, 2005. A haze covers the tormented wastescape. Earth heaved out of place, unnatural:. An angry child’s sandbox pitted and cratered. There The shattered iron beams, legs of some. Dead insect protruding at angles from the corpse. Everywhere ruin. And ash an acrid gray powder. Permeates everything a surreal touch to a surreal. World Over. Everything is over. And we failed. Everything failed and now. Greatness. Greatness culminating in the greatest destruction. All the dreams of men.
Patient Fury Poetry: Nameless 16
http://patientfury2.blogspot.com/2005/03/nameless-16.html
Sunday, March 06, 2005. I’m trying to capture some glint of light. To hold it fast and stave off the night. All around the darkness descends. And it seems like I have no more friends. Still there is yet a glimmer of hope. All that’s beautiful is not yet broke. A chance to live still full of faith. That all is not a shadowy wraith. Perhaps there lies still a chance. And for that hope I wait. Not passing through death’s gate. Posted by David at 10:51 PM. California, United States. View my complete profile.
Patient Fury Poetry: Nameless 24
http://patientfury2.blogspot.com/2005/03/nameless-24.html
Sunday, March 06, 2005. All I saw was your faint smile. And tried to watch it all the while. We stood in close proximity,. I held back by timidity,. So that you could in no way know. Of sentiments as they did grow;. And in no way could I express. All that I felt in tenderness. If only you could be aware. Of all that lay in my heart there. Full of thoughts of your perfection. Also fears of your rejection. And so then I held back in fear. Satisfied to be merely near. Posted by David at 11:25 PM.

Thursday, June 21, 2007. It's well past time for something a little less unpalatable to be gracing the most recent post position. It's been a rather busy last year at Swarthmore and this blog hasn't been a priority (could you tell? But I thought I'd let anyone randomly stopping by know that I did, in fact, survive the infection. =) I actually managed to pick up my degree in engineering, and math minor too, and am back home in the Bay Area for the immediately foreseeable future.
