Wednesday, October 15, 2008. This past weekend we (Karra, Nikki, Shannon and I) went up to the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the beautiful fall colors. We walked around a lake on the Parkway near Blowing Rock. Here are some photos that were taken by our resident photographer, Nikki! The map that will help guide us. if we can read it! We got on the wrong trail that if we had kept on it, we probably still would have been walking! Some photos of the beautiful leaves. But isn't it a pretty view?

Saturday, September 27, 2008. Happy Birthday Mom and Me! Just 27 years ago, Mom took me home on her birthday. She got a little teary-eyed thinking about all the years gone by. We celebrated our special days with a BLT&A,. A fried green tomato stack, and caramel bread pudding for lunch. Since that wasn't enough, we had coffee and dessert at. The Cheesecake Factory later that afternoon! The next night, my real birthday, the Pipgras family threw. Me a birthday dinner complete with cake and presents!

Saturday, May 2, 2009. New York City - Sister's Weekend. Little Italy - Our hotel was only a couple of blocks away and it was definitely one of our favorite places! Statue of Liberty from the Ferry. But since i am about to embark on a new journey and a new life in the "land down under".yes, i am moving to australia{! I figure i should start posting now during my last few weeks stateside. Tonight was my last night on the midnight shift at UPS.i am so lucky to have met and befriended so many wonderful and funny and caring people over the past year and a half! Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Mel and Rudonna.Mel's birthday. 2/19. Karra cooked the birthday supper and she also made the German Chocolate cake. We also had Ray, Karen, Margaret and Shannon over for supper. Karen's birthday is 2 days after Mels. Right before we left for the airport to go back home from Brent and Johanna's.
