Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Part 2 - Questions Answered! As promised, I wanted to follow-up our first post by answering some questions that have come up as we've shared our news. That is probably the most popular question we have received, and there is a short and long answer to it. The short answer is - this is the country we felt led to adopt from! So why did we choose Ethiopia - well here are some facts on Ethiopia:. There are 5 MILLION. Orphans in Ethiopia alone! Of people have access to safe drink...

Rollercoaster | Henry and Holland's NICU Adventures

Henry and Holland's NICU Adventures. Laquo; 8 Weeks! On January 16, 2013. We’ve read and heard that a NICU stay is a lot like a rollercoaster. We don’t especially like this analogy, since neither of us are particularly fond of roller coasters, but also because we know that through this whole process we have so much to be thankful for despite the ups and downs. There are bound to be good days and bad days, and as long as we take each as they come, we know that we’ll get through it! Feel better, baby girl!

Henry and Holland's NICU Adventures. Laquo; Just for Uncle Ted…. On March 15, 2013. So, it turns out that the time available for blogging DRASTICALLY decreases once these babies that the blog is all about are home! Henry and Holland have officially been home for 6 weeks. They’ve been a blur of feeding, diapering, doctors’ appointments, snuggle fests, breathing treatments, and. That’s right. She’s got time for. But not blogging. The Rowenhorst Family: November 2012
http://rowenhorstfamilyadoption.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 2, 2012. On October 31, 2011 we submitted our preliminary application to adopt through Bethany Christian Services. Its hard to believe how many things have changed since that time. When we announced our adoption, we were given crazy looks and some odd responses. We had 2 biological children - a girl and boy, 2 1/2 years and 6 months old. Why would we want to do such a thing? Our son was so young - why would we start this all now? Todd and Tanya Rowenhorst. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Rowenhorst Family: January 2012
http://rowenhorstfamilyadoption.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 5, 2012. Anyways, we have some various ideas for fundraising, but our first idea is to sell coffee! Well, we specifically won't be selling coffee, but we are partnering with "Just Love" Coffee Roasters. They are a company with an incredible mission - to help adopting families raise financial support for their adoptions, but also, they are helping people around the world make a living by selling their coffee. Here is a bit about them that I found on their website:. I think they have a gr...

The Rowenhorst Family: Adoption Update
http://rowenhorstfamilyadoption.blogspot.com/2013/06/adoption-update.html
Wednesday, June 26, 2013. SoI'm not a great blogger. This is not a surprise to me, :) but I'm just definitely not the person to post family updates every few days, few weeks, or obviously even few months. I'm keeping this blog primarily for our adoption, and because there is not a lot going on, there have been very few blog posts. Todd and Tanya Rowenhorst. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Bake Sale Fundraiser and HomeStudy Update. Our Homestudy is complete! Todd and Tanya Rowenhorst. Monday, March 5, 2012. A few weeks ago I had a phone interview with a reporter from The Banner, CRC's monthly publication. They wanted to write an article on our coffee fundraiser. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but we pray it somehow continue to raise awareness for adoption and the orphan crisis! You can check it out here:. Http:/ www.thebanner.org/news/article/?
