Together in class, we'll model this activity on an OHT then you can work in your groups to finish this off. Log into 'Blogger' in another window. John and Polly’s mothers had been best-friends, and they had often delighted at the thought of the John and Polly eventually getting married. However, John’s mother died when he was only seven, and the families grew apart. She was shy but very kind.
