a charlatanical memoir: Apartment pictures!
http://maliorbust.blogspot.com/2007/12/apartment-pictures.html
This is Michele and my new apartment in NW DC:. The kitchen isn't a separate room, it actually makes up the back of the living room (I love that). And its a pretty sweet kitchen too. Granite counters, stained concrete floors. We haven't hung anything on the walls yet, but we've got some awesome stuff from Africa to hang up, plus we plan on printing and framing some of our photos from Mali. Our window out onto the world of Giant the supermarket with our dinky yet lovable Christmas tree. Our Map of Mali.

a charlatanical memoir: Snow Day DC
http://maliorbust.blogspot.com/2007/12/snow-day-dc.html
Ok, to start out with, I am a very bad person for not updating more frequently. I deserve your harsh words - especially those of you who might still read this living in Africa - that is, if any of you even bother anymore. Interesting tidbit of the day: false-consensus effect:. This explains why madmen like Bill O'Reilly believe in their 'War on Christmas'. Written by Outlaw Torn. On Wednesday, December 05, 2007. Ahh snowtime in DC.how I love thee. Miss you and talk to you soon! 2:31 AM, January 02, 2008.

The Gypsy Book: January 2010

Written by Adrianita la Gitanita, dedicated to my grandmother Tita. The painting just outside my door. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Walking in a painting. September 28, 2009. The concept of day and date has become distant. The routine of school, home, eat and sleep; 6 times a week is incredibly impactful. As beautiful as "walking in a painting" is, the opportunity to enjoy it is partially lost by being in a classroom for 10 hours a day. A hail storm in the midst of a 70 degree day! Before we knew it the dr...

Princess Kate: Good Times in Mt. Angel
http://swisskatieblog.blogspot.com/2005/09/good-times-in-mt-angel.html
Waiting, waiting, waiting for January 10, 2006. When Jim and I will finally, hopefully, possibly, maybe leave for service in Thailand until April 2008. Tuesday, September 20, 2005. Good Times in Mt. Angel. Had a lot of good times this weekend in Mt. Angel. Saw many good friends, had fun dancing, drinking beer, cooking delicious food, and eating some delicious food. It was fantastical not to perform, although I did play a song with Christiana at the last show. Posted by Katie V at 6:23 PM.
