The Peace Matunda Blog: August 2011
http://cicelypeacematunda.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
The Peace Matunda Blog. Supporting Peace Matunda School, Tanzania. Friday, 12 August 2011. First off, I would like to apologise for my rant in the last blog, I hope it put into perspective some of the aspects of school life here for you all, and didn’t come across as too political, as that’s not what I am here for! Leaving Peace Matunda at approximately 1pm, we returned hot, sweaty and tired at nearly 6pm, with 2 5ft lengths of sugar cane, a bag of sweet potatoes and a chicken, but more about those later.

The Peace Matunda Blog: June 2011
http://cicelypeacematunda.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
The Peace Matunda Blog. Supporting Peace Matunda School, Tanzania. Thursday, 30 June 2011. A land of opposites. Hello all. I’m writing this on Wednesday the 30th (although, with internet the way it is I could post this next week! The children are back and school is in full flow, almost! Standard 4 sat their exams on Tuesday and from their reactions they seem not so quietly confident. It is seriously hindering my plan for returning with a tan! Surely this is some sort of surreal nightmare-esque joke?

The Peace Matunda Blog: Play time!
http://cicelypeacematunda.blogspot.com/2012/04/play-time.html
The Peace Matunda Blog. Supporting Peace Matunda School, Tanzania. Friday, 20 April 2012. During the children’s Easter break, there were many fun times to be had for the Amani house residents! Dorcas chilling by the pool! Their last night ended with an extremely large bonfire with the extra special addition of barbequed goat! As I wrote this a few days ago I was sat around the previous night’s fire place which much to my astonishment continued to smoke, if anything can give an indication to the tem...

The Peace Matunda Blog. Supporting Peace Matunda School, Tanzania. Tuesday, 27 September 2011. Hello all, my apologies for lack of blogging of late, due to unforeseen technological difficulties, my laptop has been rendered gefunked (yes, that’s a word). Never fear though, Kristina very graciously left hers while she went on safari for me to catch up with some work! However, it’s a Mac. And as beautifully shiny and white as it is, my stunted computer brain is struggling to adjust to the layout. I did sit ...

http://cicelypeacematunda.blogspot.com/2011/07/they-think-its-all-over.html
The Peace Matunda Blog. Supporting Peace Matunda School, Tanzania. Tuesday, 19 July 2011. They think its all over. Location: My room, Peace Matunda School and Orphanage. I can’t sleep. The air is heavy with anticipation. My breath is short; I’m struggling with my emotions. Am I nervous? Today is the day. Today is the day that could shape the rest of my life. Why? One name. Dora. What a defender. She is tiny, and I mean tiny, she just about reaches my waist, but boy can she defend! NB I would like to conf...
