Before school this morning. Friday, March 14, 2014. Thankful Thursday #202 on Friday. Yesterday was the kind of day when nothing went well. My tooth was still hurting. I went to bed early after a glass of wine. Yesterday was just a bad day. Today is a new day and I am determined to be thankful. I am thankful for:.

Gravity of Motion: January 2014
http://gravityofmotion.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
The Weight of Constant Activity. Tuesday, January 28, 2014. I love it when. Quite often the little things in life are frustrating. Sometimes sarcasm helps. I love it when I make muffins and the kids say they don't taste right. I insist that they are fine. And, after breakfast, I find the butter in the microwave. I guess muffins that call for melted butter in the recipe don't taste the same without the butter. I love it when I realize that a person that I thought was quite a bit older than me is only 2 ye...

Gravity of Motion: Gravity of Motion: The Weight Of Constant Activity
http://gravityofmotion.blogspot.com/2008/10/gravity-of-motion-weight-of-constant.html
The Weight of Constant Activity. Sunday, October 26, 2008. Gravity of Motion: The Weight Of Constant Activity. Every once in a while I get asked about the title of this blog. Only a few people have asked about it. I don't know if that means everyone else gets it or if no one else has ever stopped to think about it. It is quite significant to me. The title is a stark reminder for me to take inventory of my activities. BTW, found you from Andrea's blog.). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complet...

http://gravityofmotion.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
The Weight of Constant Activity. Thursday, November 13, 2014. Thursday Thanks Tank #205. Each week, in an effort to focus on thankfulness, I make a gratitude list. It's not a complete list. It is a great exercise for growing gratefulness. Sometimes I post it. I haven't been good at posting consistently for a while. I am thankful for:. Cooler temperatures for running. A trip away without kids. My parents being willing and able to watch my kids. An allergy safe Halloween. An ability to let go. Food Allergy...

Gravity of Motion: My PA Son is Almost Done with Elementary School
http://gravityofmotion.blogspot.com/2015/05/my-pa-son-is-almost-done-with.html
The Weight of Constant Activity. Wednesday, May 13, 2015. My PA Son is Almost Done with Elementary School. It's hard to believe my peanut allergic son is finishing up elementary school. I remember vividly my fear the night before he started Kindergarten. There were tears. After he was in bed, I shed big sobbing tears. I was afraid of what he would be up against in school. Where did the time go? I've learned a lot. Much of it can be wrapped up in this: Be proactive. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Gravity of Motion: April 2014
http://gravityofmotion.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
The Weight of Constant Activity. Monday, April 14, 2014. So much to say. and yet there are no words. I have so much to say, I don't even know where to start. My week has been so full. So very full. I will start with my heart's ache. This week, a little boy- a neighbor- lost his life. He had just turned 5 in March. He ran into the road and was, tragically, hit by a car. There aren't words to describe it. And, I am just a neighbor whose kids played with the boy and his older brother. And it breaks my heart.

http://gravityofmotion.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
The Weight of Constant Activity. Friday, August 16, 2013. I walked into the bathroom to put up some clean towels. My 8 year old was going to the bathroom. I'm peeing with my eyes closed.". Laughter. A proud smile. The seat is down. There's pee on the seat.". T: "Not much." Pointing. "Just a little over here.". M: "Well, I. Don't want to sit on that. Here (handing him tissue), wipe it up.". T: "I don't want to touch it.". M: "Neither do I. Go to it.". Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Gravity of Motion: March 2015
http://gravityofmotion.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
The Weight of Constant Activity. Monday, March 23, 2015. On Saturday, I was waiting outside of the middle school for my son to finish a study group. I looked at the sky and was taken aback. A beautiful moment, almost missed. There is beauty in the ordinary. There are extraordinary things in everyday life. Oh, also, always remember to look up. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Gravity of Motion: Food Allergy Awareness Week: Monday
http://gravityofmotion.blogspot.com/2015/05/food-allergy-awareness-week-monday.html
The Weight of Constant Activity. Monday, May 11, 2015. Food Allergy Awareness Week: Monday. It's Food Allergy Awareness Week 2015. A few thoughts about this week. I always wished this awareness week took place in the Fall, toward the beginning of a school year, instead of May, near the end of school. I am sure that effort will be meaningful.
