Thursday, March 20, 2008. World Champion Boston Red Sox Season Opener v. Oakland Athletics. March 25, 2008. Ahh yes.Now I know the batting order! Thanks for all you do, Katie and crew! Ben, Abby and I all took the trip, and Abby even got to join us for an exhibition game on a Saturday afternoon in the Tokyo Dome. Uncle Billy couldn't have been more proud when at a (slightly) quiet moment while Manny was stepping in to the box Abby yelled, "Go Manny! A few other shots from the baseball portion of the trip:.

Happ Family Adventures in HK: Day to day
http://hongkonghapps.blogspot.com/2008/02/day-to-day.html
Thursday, February 28, 2008. One of the most common questions I've heard since we decided to move to HK is, "What are you going to DO all day? My answer is fairly simple: the same things I've been doing since Abby was born. That means finding interesting ways to stimulate her brain, make sure she gets enough food, sleep, exercise, books and love. It's just that now I have to find new places to make those things happen! 2)where were you before that? 3)how long have you been here? 4)how old are your kids?

This year Abby has discovered the magic if Cinderella through our numerous visits to Hong Kong Disney. In that spirit we had a "Cinderella" themed birthday party at the little restaurant here in our apartment complex. We were so lucky to have a big crowd of friends and family with us to celebrate. Greeting friends as they arrive. Story and game time with our "rented" Cinderella! Lounging in her big bed!

Happ Family Adventures in HK: Where to Begin?
http://hongkonghapps.blogspot.com/2008/02/where-to-begin.html
Sunday, February 24, 2008. It hardly seems possible that 5 months have passed since we completed our move to Hong Kong. Moving is never an easy task, but preparing to move from our little house in Connecticut to a high-rise apartment building 8,098 miles away was particularly daunting. Sure, the sorting, cleaning, storing and packing was difficult; but it was a breeze compared with mentally preparing for putting those 8. 098 miles between ourselves and our families and friends scattered across the US.

http://hongkonghapps.blogspot.com/2008/02/now-real-journey-begins.html
Thursday, February 28, 2008. Now for the REAL journey. Apartments here come bare, and I mean. Light fixtures in every room are single bare light-bulbs in the ceiling.
