Photohiking the Thames Path - Steve Gledhill. Wednesday, 29 October 2014. Day 10 - 27th October 2014 - Oxford to Near Abingdon. It surprised me how little of this fine university city is visible from the river. Other then the line of boat sheds for the university rowing teams there's little else to hint that it's Oxford. Photohiking the Thames Path - Steve Gledhill. Wednesday, 24 June 2015. Day 26 - 23rd June 2015 - Chiswick Bridge to Wandsworth Bridge. My images from along this stretch of the Thames were all taken with a new 70-200mm zoom. Something of a departure for me as most of my work for the last several years has been with wide angle lenses. I now have the tools to home in on smaller areas of detail like the ‘Mud Mountain Range’ below which would not have been possible for me until now. Posted by Steve Gledhill.

Sunday, August 9, 2015. 周末Hiking - Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve. 昨天去了北边一整天，今天有许多家务。可一早起来看到这明媚的阳光，蔚蓝的天空，还真是有点不甘心啊。吃完早饭，清点着今天要采购的东西，突然想起来年初在New Market偶遇的朋友，既然不准备远行，大部分采购的东西都在Costco, 何不趁这个机会去北边附近转转，采购并会会朋友呢。出门前在微信上给Jie 和Tom发了个消息，不知道我们这临时起意的计划能不能凑上他们的时间。采购完成，直奔小小的保护区。位于New Market西北的Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve。大概因为外面修路，这里来的人很少，穿过一片小树林，眼前天高云淡，视野份外开阔。进门不远有个小小的水塘，环池塘一圈的小路走的人很少，很多地方路上的草已经一人多高完全看不出路了。我们好不容易从蒿草中冲杀出来，就惊动了一只正在水边捕鱼的大蓝鹭。走到小桥上，看到一只Kingfisher飞到远处的树枝上，赶紧用长镜头照了一张。 Saturday, August 8, 2015. 7月底&#65...
