Recreation is king at Pine Crest Campground. The Susquehanna River is approximately 100 to 150 feet wide and approximately 7 to 10 feet deep at the campground. (Your boat should have a shallow draft.) The safe boating area extends for 5 to 6 miles. If you have a canoe or kayak, or can otherwise maneuver your boat through the narrows , you will have another 3 to 4 miles of more secluded area to explore.
