The Transit Lounge: April 2004
http://transitlounging.blogspot.com/2004_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 30. I am about to have the hissey fit to end all hissey fits. At this stage I am still not even 100% sure why this is so, but quite possibly the most annoying thing about it all is that there will be no-one around who gets it, which in my opinion lessens the effectiveness of a hissey fit considerably - I mean what's the point in all this show if there is no audience? And that is when I felt it - as I was crumbling on the inside, the first, acute signs of what seemed like the inevitable hiss...

The Transit Lounge: May 2004
http://transitlounging.blogspot.com/2004_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 16. What's In A Name? Upon trying to keep informed of news from the outside world today, I discovered that Gwyneth Paltrow gave birth to a healthy gorgeous apple. Sorry, girl. Named Apple. What I meant to write is that she and her hubby, Chris Martin, lead singer of the notoriously depressive Coldplay, are now the proud parents of a baby girl, whom they named Apple. Have Apple a day to keep the doctor away' was quickly followed by 'Are you Golden Delicious? Have Gwynnie and Chris gone nuts?

The Transit Lounge: August 2004
http://transitlounging.blogspot.com/2004_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 23. Smoke and a Pancake? After all, the beer and chu-his can't be taken out of the restaurant! You can smoke everywhere in Japan. McDonalds, the train station, the local supermarket, you name it, you can smoke. Maybe with the last example I am over exaggerating a little, although I am sure if I did no-one would look twice (but that could just be because of the "crazy gaijin" factor and they would probably be too scared to stop me). They didn't smoke 100 years ago? Upon having a short conve...
