Bob loblaw's lobster blog. Archive for 2015 Yearly archive page. On May 24, 2015. We did coffee ceremony, which is where someone roasts the coffee beans over a wood charcoal fire, grinds them by hand, and serves them from special clay pots. The coffee had a nice woodsy, roasted flavor. They also serve popcorn cooked over the charcoal. After that we were invited back to the restaurant owner’s house for some wine, and met her children. A morning without coffee is like sleep. On May 10, 2015. The paintings ...

Within the wall | bob loblaw's lobster blog

Bob loblaw's lobster blog. On October 1, 2014. On Sunday, the day after we landed, we headed up to Intramuros, which literally means inside the wall. It’s a walled-off part of Manila from the 16th century–the Spanish lived inside and the Chinese lived a bit to the north. Now Intramuros is just like any other part of the city, with bars, churches, restaurants, and slums, but much older. All around Fort Santiago are tiny horses pulling tiny carriages. Inside Intramuros is San Agustin. 9654; No Responses.

I Hate My Developer: Thing 1
http://ihatemydeveloper.blogspot.com/2010/02/thing-1.html
I Hate My Developer. Sharing in the American Dream ain't easy if your condo developer is sleazy. Sunday, February 14, 2010. The good news is I still have hair on my head. The bad news is that on occasion I'm a dead ringer for Thing One. From "Cat in the Hat.". I knew this transition was going to be extremely challenging. Winter is the best time to start matters of this nature since you can easily explain away the constant presence of a hat. Truthfully, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want my hair back.

I Hate My Developer. Sharing in the American Dream ain't easy if your condo developer is sleazy. Monday, August 31, 2009. Are you ready for this? The last building on the block with an overgrown yard has finally cut their grass. Foolishness. Just plain foolishness. While that is a big step in the aesthetic look of the neighborhood, the downside is that now the first floor windows and main entrance has been boarded up. The grass looks better but the now plywood abounds. Six of one, half dozen of the other.

I Hate My Developer. Sharing in the American Dream ain't easy if your condo developer is sleazy. Tuesday, February 09, 2010. A few weeks ago I had the privilege to sit in on Judge William Pileggi's court call. My developer, Carlton Knight, was back in court about the Marquette building. It's been over two years since the city filed a lawsuit in an attempt to compel Mr. Knight to bring the back porch into code compliance. Two years of continuances. Two years of not bringing the porch into compliance.

I Hate My Developer. Sharing in the American Dream ain't easy if your condo developer is sleazy. Thursday, February 11, 2010. Really, Senator Durbin? The back and forth continues. Thank you for sharing your personal struggle to modify your mortgage through your bank. Too many families across the country are having a tough time staying in their homes, and our nation's banks are not doing nearly enough to help. The Obama Administration has taken some steps to encourage loan modifications, but the very bank...
