Fred Bullis, USMC. PFC Steven Ford, US Army, who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11/67 in Vietnam. While on patrol he took the lead of his comrades and was killed by hostile enemy fire. Originally constructed in Bolingbrook to honor Steven Ford’s memory and sacrifice. Over time the memorial fell into major disrepair due to neglect and vandalism.
