Friday, June 30, 2006. Anyway - back home and back to life - as usual it's hard coming off of a week with nothing but God, teenagers, sun and sand, but it must be done. At least now I feel like I have the energy to do something other than come home and crash. So for now, I leave you with the things I learned on vacation. 1 God is amazing -. 2 I'm not as young as I used to be - spending 5 hours reffing basketball. 5 I am a terrible fisherman - I give up on the idea of ever catching a fish. Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighted the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance? Who has undestood the mind of the Lord, or instructed him as his counselor? Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Will we forever fail to truly see and understand His greatness?
