The Bhatis are basically Chandravanshi Rajputs and they claim their inheritance from Lord Krishna. And Jaisalmer (1150 AD). In fact the later rulers kept on making altercations in these forts including at Pugal also in the name of repair/renovations/refurbishing in the forthcoming years; that is why the fort kept imbibing very sculpture characteristics of Delhi sultanate as well as mughal period. Bhatis acted as protectors for India from the attacks made from far North:-.

Also there used to be marriage alliances among the children of Bhati Kings with Pathans, Baluch, Koris etc. And Jaisalmer(1156 AD). Other rulars also either constructed new forts or renovated already established forts. Some of the famous wars which were fought by Bhatis are their fight againt Jalaluddin near Khorasan in Ghazni in 194 AD, against Pawars in Tannot in 1841 AD, in 1294 AD and 1305 AD against Jallauddin and Alluddin Khilji in Jaisalmer respectively etc.
