Wednesday, September 9, 2009. This year, I felt like I wanted to celebrate Ganpati. By drawing an image of one. So here is what I came up with. Its not complete, but I wanted it to look festive, but at the same time, I love the austerity of stone idols. I tried to achieve a balance by keeping the idol gray, and the background, I colored in the very Indian tones of saffron and fuchsia. The two colors remind me of. I would never dare to wear those colors together, but they make me feel happy.

Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Indian curry at Java Noodles. After enduring a considerable period of time feeling nauseated. By the sight, smell and even thought of food, I felt really happy at having regained a semblance of my former appetite. I still don't feel like eating any kind of meat.
