Tuesday, December 8, 2009. This last week as a bitter-sweet one. On Wednesday morning at 1:30 am, we got a call from Chris, Henry's grandson. Henry was rushed to the emergency room. Because his blood pressure. After I received the news of Henry's death, I cried. I said a prayer and the overwhelming comfort of the Spirit came. Thursday, February 12, 2009. I thought I'd post some pics of the sweet people I've been working with. I really do love this job, I think the spirit world is close all the time. Since I've been there 5 residents have passed away. That's both the hard part and the good part. Death is a friend to most of the people who live there, but it's hard to see them go. He was by far the youngest participant by as much as two and a half years, but loved every minute of it. I think he was most excited though to be doing it with his cousin Logan. He surprised me when he would come home and tell me how you're supposed to dribble with your fingertips, or about chest and bounce passes. They are too cute!

Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Mom and Dad, (screen for bloggers). All of the pictures were so fun! Thank you for those. Everyone is growing up so much. I will not even recognize Addis. And Holly was wearing the Indian Dress we made! Well, transfers are tomorrow. Looks like I'm dying in Burgess Falls! I am happy. It is a great place to end the mission. I get to keep both of my wonderful companions as well. Guess what, I'm going to be a GRANDMA! I never thought I would live to see the day! Yall are the best!

It's pretty depressing when you go to the doctor and she looks at your chart and says, "Is this weight reading right? You really gained that much last month? Just 6 short weeks later at a Halloween Party.
