Although you do not have a lot of faith, you are devoted to making this world better, in the short time that you have to live. Humanists do not generally believe in an afterlife, and therefore, are committed to making the world a better place for themselves and future generations. Posted by Aeger @ Sunday, October 30, 2005. Kingdom of Heathen: June 2006

We're too smart for our own god. Monday, June 19, 2006. Tolerance v. Acceptance. I have a new response towards anyone who accuses you of being intolerant for disapproving of religion. The tenet of it is that there is a distinct difference between tolerance. I am capable of tolerating. The behaviors of someone who goes to church weekly. However, I can reasonably dispute this behavior, and refrain from accepting. Ergo, most accusations of intolerance would be inaccurate, invalid, and ergo unacceptable.

Kingdom of Heathen: November 2006
http://kingdomofheathen.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
We're too smart for our own god. Wednesday, November 22, 2006. The Reverend Ted Haggard, previously the leader of the 30 million-strong National Association of Evangelicals was one of the strongest opponents of gay rights in the country. He preached banishment to all homosexuals and his craggy face swore at the heathen masses from millions of televisions. One might even say he ate anti-gay hate for breakfast. The Reverend recently stepped down from his NAE presidency. Why? Links to this post. So I have t...

He apparently has a combination of Syphilis, Herpes, and a brain tumor. Only in House, right? Wouldn't it be so great if everyone who believes in God just admitted what they actually have is a horrible mental disease and went and got fixed? Well, I can dream. We're too smart for our own god. Thursday, September 29, 2005. Religion in my classes. In English, God has been showing up a lot. I don't have much of a problem with it though, since like European or US History, leaving religion out of it can kind of mess things up a little. Though with English, you can be fine without reading any literature dealing with religion, so that point sucked. An example would be:. Nothing bad, just a little comedic.
