A weakling, in His strength I’ll stand. March 2, 2008. Thanks to CK who helped me to see things from a different point of view. Yea, sometimes, we are just too focused on our own myopic perspective and are not able to see things from God’s perspectives. Only when we learn to see the greater picture from His view, we will realise how amazing His work and plans are…and how He uses us to do His will and purpose. Just to quote what CK mentioned:. Yes, surely somebody will gain from what we are going through.

Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I pray that I would be like the woman described above…. Submissive, obedient, quiet and gentle in spirit…. She reminded me of my few colleagues who have just become mothers, or are moms-to-be.

Have you ever wanted to be an all-wise, all-knowing, all-intuitive sage who could always immediately pinpoint the problem with someone’s spiritual life? Well, the idea did not sound so ridiculous at first. All I wanted to do was help a friend get out of her spiritual rut. I wanted to give a solution to her problem… now what exactly is her problem again? I don’t know! I’m getting stressed over nothing.
